After 38 years, Laminating Team Leader Al Monroe is retiring.

Al started on April 13, 1988, at our original Stark Rd. building. He was handed badge number 15. Today, only four active employees have a lower number!

Ask him what he's most proud of, and the answer isn't a single project; it's the steady work of learning and growing across nearly every position in the plant. "Working with your hands, creating things people can use," he says, was the part he loved.

Over 38 years, he estimates he's worked alongside hundreds of teammates. Plenty has changed in that time. Training used to be something you figured out on your own; today, it's a team effort, and that shift is what stands out most to him. The work itself? Still cabinets. Still building. The foundation is solid.

Al's advice for anyone just starting their career here: "Be open to learning."

And his parting words to the team: "I'm not good at poetry. All I have to say is, do your best."

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage shaped the freedoms we live by: the ability to build, create, gather with the people we love, and pursue the work that matters to us. None of it is lost on us.

To the fallen, and to the families who carry their memory forward, thank you. We remember.

🌸 What a beautiful Saturday morning in Midland! 🌸

Our Case Systems Inc. team had a wonderful time participating in Midland Blooms 2026, joining nearly 600 community volunteers to plant petunias along Eastman Avenue. This incredible tradition, now in its 36th year, is coordinated by the Midland Business Alliance and brings neighbors, businesses, and families together to keep our community beautiful and blooming.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers who showed up bright and early to dig in, plant, and bring this avenue alive with color for another season! 🌷 Watching everyone come together year after year is what makes Midland such a special place to live and work.

Love seeing this from the BOSTONtec team. Midland Public Schools' welding program is growing, so BOSTONtec built them a new stainless steel quench tank 1.5x bigger than the last one. They handled the bending and tack welding, then the students finished the final welds themselves. Shop equipment, built by the students who will use it every day.

Midland Public Schools' welding program is growing! Five new welding bays were recently added to the Midland High lab, and with that growth comes new equipment to match.🧑‍🏭❇️

BOSTONtec® was glad to team up with MHS to fabricate a new stainless steel quench tank, 1.5x the size of the previous one, sized to support the program's expanded capacity. Our team bent and tacked it together, then handed it off to the students for the final welds. We sent along stainless steel practice pieces so they could get a feel for the material before tackling the real thing.

Supporting CTE programs like this one matters to us. These students are the skilled workforce of tomorrow, and we're proud to play a small part in their journey.

🩺 The results are in from our latest blood drive, and we're thrilled to share that enough successful donations were collected to potentially save up to 33 lives in our community!

This incredible impact was made possible by everyone who rolled up their sleeves to support our neighbors through their donation. Whether it was someone's first time donating or their fiftieth, each contribution plays a vital role in helping patients across our region receive the care they need.
