Last week, Fisher Sand & Gravel and Fisher Contracting hosted students from the Greater Michigan Construction Academy Summer Camp. This camp gives young people a chance to explore careers in the construction industry through interactive, hands-on activities.

During their visit, 29 campers had the opportunity to operate an excavator, create a concrete stepping stone, and tour the Fisher Sand & Gravel concrete plant. It was a rewarding day sharing details about our industry!

We recently kicked-off the 2026 season with a review of safety priorities and operational procedures during our annual Spring Kick-Off Meeting!
