Just a reminder that dad will be up at the store today (and most days this week!) getting the building cleaned up and ready for its next owner.

Wow! The hardware store definitely looks different with so much cleared out! However, there are several items that dad has found now that auction items have been picked up that were not part of the original sale—with so many years in business we just knew there’d be some things hidden away that we missed.
These items may be of interest to some (see a few of the items in the pictures below), so feel free to give dad a call at 660-292-0616 to hear what all items are available to purchase OR feel free to stop into the store on Monday and take a peek in person. My dad will be up cleaning out the remaining items for a few days next week, but can be reached by phone any time.

As my dad locked up the hardware store for the last time today, we were reminded of just how lucky we’ve been to make so many memories in this building with so many wonderful people!

As soon as we have information about the online auction we will post the details here. If you are needing a last minute item or interested in an auction item, please give my dad a call. While we are technically closed, I know he’d be happy to meet you up at the store if he has what you need.

Just a reminder that this Wednesday, May 15th, is our last day open!

We are getting things in order for our online auction and had to make some room, which meant getting rid of our remaining garden seed. If you are still needing garden seed, you can find it at Newtown Grocery Store.

Just a reminder that next Wednesday, May 15th, will be our final day open! Our housewares side is looking a little bare, but we still have lots of garden seed and items on the hardware side. We’d love to help you find what you need one last time!

It’s official! May 15th will be our last full day open for sales, including garden seed. If there’s something you need to stock up on, or just want to stop by one last time to say hi(I know my dad would love that!), we will be open for normal business hours until then.

Our online auction through Iman will run for a couple weeks after that—more auction information coming soon!
