We're excited to officially welcome Marlin Yoder to the JDM Homes family!

With a lifetime of experience in construction, Marlin brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He spent nearly 7 years working in concrete construction before building residential homes as a rough framer for approximately 25 years. His hands-on experience and passion for the building industry make him a valuable addition to our team.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at JDM Homes so far, he shared that getting to know the people he works with and learning about the complete home-building process have been the highlights. He has especially enjoyed seeing our current home builds come together from start to finish.

Outside of work, family is at the center of his life. He and his wife, Bernita, have been married for 25 years and have three children: Jamie (who has been married to Reece for two years), Alayna, 18, and Carson, 17. They love cheering on their kids at volleyball and baseball games, spending time outdoors, and vacationing anywhere there's water—especially at the beach! In their free time, he and Bernita enjoy playing pickleball and hiking together.

This modular home was set on its foundation last Monday, and by Thursday morning the garage and porch were already framed and under roof. It's incredible to watch a home come together so quickly.
