We are proud to announce the opening of the Cambria Recreation Center. A major addition to nonprofit Camp Courage, a longtime Cambria partner, the 26,600-square-foot facility will expand access to recreation and wellness for children and adults with disabilities.
The $17.7 million project was funded largely by $10 million from the Minnesota State Legislature and a $2.5 million donation from the Camp Cambria® Foundation. Additionally, the Davis family, Cambria’s owners and founders, donated 3,500 square feet of Cambria quartz surfaces, ensuring all spaces are durable, hygienic, and accessible.
Key features include an 8,000-square-foot, ADA-accessible aquatic center with a zero-entry pool, and a 12,900-square-foot gymnasium with a stage for performing arts. This milestone is part of the Foundation’s decade-long commitment, which has directed over $5 million to improve the accessibility, safety, and quality of Camp Courage facilities.
For Cambria, the Center reflects a broader commitment to community, integrating its philanthropic mission, product innovation, and employee expertise to create a meaningful and lasting impact. Full story here: https://cambria.cc/CambriaRecCenterCampCourage
