It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Richard Shores on June 15, 2026.

Richard founded Shores Plumbing & Heating and spent decades building a business and reputation that earned the trust and respect of so many families throughout our community.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Richard’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched during this difficult time.

We are honored and grateful to have met Richard and to carry on the Shores name through Shores Plumbing. We remain committed to providing the same dependable service and care that customers have come to associate with the Shores name.

A little dirt never hurt.

We wrapped up this project by running a new water line out to a customer’s greenhouse and installing a yard hydrant to make watering easier and more convenient.

It’s not always the flashy jobs that make the biggest difference—sometimes it’s simply bringing water exactly where it’s needed. Another happy customer and another job well done by the Shores Plumbing team!

Meet The Owner

If you’ve called Shores Plumbing recently, chances are you’ve already met Tim — whether on a service call, answering questions, or working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

Tim is the owner and lead technician at Shores Plumbing and has years of hands-on experience in plumbing, drain cleaning, water & sewer work, troubleshooting, and repairs. He takes a lot of pride in doing things the right way and treating customers honestly and fairly.

One thing that matters most to him is providing quality service. He’s known for his meticulous attention to detail and having that “magic touch” to solve any plumbing problem when others can’t.

As a local small business, we’re proud to serve Mocksville and the surrounding communities with fast, friendly, professional service at an affordable price.
