Folks, we’ve talked about the clowns, the singers, Santa and The Grinch gracing our presence this evening. However, in my opinion, the folks manning this table are the most important ones here. This is the Shriner’s Hospital Awareness Table. If you have a child, grandchild, child of a friend or just an acquaintance that has a medical issue please be sure to speak to these folks and find out if the Shriner’s can be of service to that child and their family. That’s really what matters. If we can touch one child’s life it will all be worthwhile. Thanks and have a fantastic evening!

We’re teaming up with Ben & Libby for one more thank you opportunity for our community and one more chance to celebrate Hometown Christmas with our friends.
Please join us on Friday evening, December 12th at Montgomery Hardware. The Shriner’s clowns will be here to entertain you. We will have a face painter for the kids. The Shriner’s Hospital Awareness folks will be here to extol the virtues of the services that they provide.
Tara Calton and Spring Lynch will be here to entertain us with their beautiful voices.
Santa will be hanging out with us and we may even get a visit from everyone’s favorite green man, the Grinch.
Ben & Libby will be serving hot dogs and chili.
You don’t want to miss this! 6-8 pm Friday December 12th. Mark your calendars!

After 15+ years of dedicated service, I am announcing my retirement from Montgomery Hardware and Home Center effective August 1, 2025. It has been a privilege to serve you, and I am deeply grateful for the trust and support you have shown me and our business over the years. All of our amazing customers are the reason for our success and your loyalty and encouragement over the past 15 years has been greatly appreciated.
I am also pleased to announce that Ben and Libby Smallwood will be taking over the ownership and management of Montgomery Hardware and Home Center. They bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective that I am confident will ensure the continued success and growth of the hardware store. I encourage you to extend the same support to Ben and Libby as you have to me.
Thank you again for your support. I will miss each and every one of you, but I am excited for the new chapter in my life.

Just want to take a minute and tell a special lady Happy 84th Birthday. We purchased the Hardware Store in January 2010, but with all the work required, we didn't open until April of that year. From the day we took possession, this special lady was here doing whatever we asked of her and needed to be done. When we opened on April 10th of that year she was here for us. From then until retirement due to her health she was a loyal and hardworking employee and all of our customers loved her. We couldn't have made it without her.
Happy 84th Birthday Helen McKay! We hope you have the best day! We love you!

We will close at noon on Saturday, May 24th and be closed on Monday, May 26th to observe Memorial Day and pay our respects to those who gave their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.
We sincerely hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Come by the store this morning and support FCCLA. They are having a bake sale here and right across the street at American Family a barbecue. Looks like they've got some delicious baked goods!
