’Twas the last night before Black Friday at the Skagit Habitat Store,
Not a shopper was waiting… though soon there’d be more.
The furniture was staged and the décor set with care,
In hopes that a huge line of shoppers soon would be there.
Our building supplies were nestled all snug on the racks,
With appliances, plumbing, and electrical stacked.
Vintage treasures were shining, each one-of-a-kind,
Just waiting for someone with a bargain in mind.
When the doors open Friday, one day only, that’s right
