We’re Growing!

We’re looking to add a new team member to our team. This is a part-time position, with weekly hours determined based on the right candidate. Weekend availability is required.

My first job was working for the Sweenys, and I can’t overstate how much confidence that experience gave me as a high school and college-aged young adult. A hardware store is a fantastic place to learn and grow.

If you’re retired and looking for a part-time role to mix things up in this next chapter—and you take pride in great customer service—this could be a great fit.

If you’re neither of those two and you’re ready to build knowledge in areas like electrical, lawn & garden, plumbing, and more, I’d love to meet you.

Our store thrives on delivering service our customers can rely on, every single visit.

Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):
• Cashiering
• Stocking
• Cleaning and maintaining shelves
• Loading customer orders

If you’ve never assembled a wheelbarrow, don’t worry—you’ll have plenty of chances to learn!

Requirements:
• Friendly, helpful, adaptable
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs (e.g., concrete bags)
• Willingness to stay engaged and present on the job

This isn’t a sit-on-a-stool-and-scroll kind of role. If being off your phone for extended periods is a challenge, this position likely isn’t the right fit.

We will be having a Spring Kickoff party March 21st with giveaways, specials and much more! More details to come on that.
