APUTURE STORM 1200X CINE KIT

Tech moves fast, and it’s hard to know when an upgrade really matters. But the .lighting STORM 1200X is one fixture that’s earning its hype.

The new BLAIR five-color engine takes the X-series beyond bi-color into full-spectrum territory. Cleaner skin tones, richer color, and fewer green / magenta shifts to fight in the image.

On the usability side, the compact F12 fresnel and locking Bowens mount make the 1200X genuinely convenient on set. And for a fixture this bright and punchy, the low-end dimming is impressive all the way down to 0.1% with no noticeable color shift.

The STORM series also includes the pro features we’ve come to expect from Aputure, like IP65 weather protection and wireless control via CRMX and Sidus Link.

It’s a versatile, capable light that’s earning its place on set.
