The Verner Mite team played their best game of the season in a tight back and forth game against a good Waltham team. Our team was able to break the tie with 15 seconds left to put it away with a great goal from Owen. The team played great defense in front of our net and got back to break up plays when needed. We really moved the puck up the outside for fast breaks extremely well with soooo many great passes in front for goals. Both our goalies, Mac and Lara fought off quality shots the entire game. Lara had a standout all around solid game as she was breaking up plays on defense, played well in the net while having a goal and an assist earning her the Mighty Mite Hard Hat for the week!! Very proud of how the team played this week from behind.

🎮 HAVE FUN. GIVE BACK. SUPPORT COMETS HOCKEY! 🏒

The Natick Comets are committed to keeping hockey affordable while providing great programming to as many kids in our community as possible. Fundraising helps offset the costs of ice time, tournaments, equipment (because somehow we never have enough pucks!), scholarships, end-of-season awards, and more.

Our Dave & Buster’s Power Card Fundraiser is an easy—and fun—way to help!

Each $20 Power Card comes loaded with 80–100 chips, has no activation fee, and never expires. Plan a Dave & Buster’s outing with friends, or stock up on cards now for easy birthday and holiday gifts.

The best part? For every $20 Power Card sold, $10 goes directly back to the Natick Comets!

🎮 Have some fun. Give a great gift. Support Comets hockey.

Hat trick hero! 🎩 Weston was absolutely bringing the energy against Newton Mite 4! He found the back of the net three times, played aggressively, and was a huge presence on both offense and defense all game long. A complete all-around performance and an easy choice for the Hype Chain! Three goals and a whole lot of hustle! Way to show up, Weston! 🏒🥅
