Hi everyone!

I wanted to take this time to reintroduce myself. I’m Anabelle, the creator of bestbelle photography. I’m an SIUE alumni and I have been a photographer for 6 years. I really enjoy sports and wildlife photography! I’m looking to do mini sessions and build up my portfolio. It doesn’t need to be a special occasion to book with me!!

I added a glittery tulle overlay, a belt, reshaped the bust, added fullness to the ruffles, changed the back closure to hook & eye vs tied. Also removed some fullness/weight from bridesmaids dresses and did a full reconstruction for a full busted bridesmaid.

This bride was so fun to work with! She wore her mom’s dress slightly reimagined for the ceremony and part of the reception. Then she changed into this dancing dress that I made custom for her! So FUN!!

Built this dress from scratch. Bride brought me inspiration pictures and talked about what she wanted. I used a few different patterns to help with this creation, but the patterns didn’t go up to the right size, so everything had to be adjusted. Spent a lot of time searching for just the right materials. Lots of hours of labor went into making this dress. Made a mock up first. Then made more pattern adjustments. Cut out tons of small embroidered flowers to create appliqués. Bodice appliqués are all hand sewn. Bride was beautiful on her wedding day! This whole process was fun and went smoothly and she was a pleasure to work with!!

Update: sold, yay!!

I just finished this upcycled black denim jacket, size large, but it doesn’t fit me, so I’m hopeful she will find a good home 😂 Anyone interested in purchasing this item feel free to message me with an offer.

I took the suit jacket up at the shoulders, reset the sleeves, and took in the collar and reset it lower. I also hemmed the pants.

I took this one in at the front and back princess seams and added boning to those plus side seams. Added cups too. Lowered the back to the waist seam. Had to remove and reapply appliqués for these alterations. I also added elastic to shoulders to make them more secure and created a bustle.

I added support in the top of this bodice to help bride feel now confident. The dress is very heavy so that helps with weight distribution so it doesn’t feel like it’s falling down. I also added bust cups, and hemmed the front/sides. The dress has horsehair braid enclosed inside a bagged hem (layers sewn together at the bottom). The dress was too full for her liking, so I removed a layer of tulle and that did the trick. The dress has box pleats, so we decided on a box pleat bustle and the bride was thrilled! She was a pleasure to work with!
