Here to help and proud to take the late, lazy and loaded out of your delivery services. Bicycle Delivery People was started in June 2009 by Joe Welch and Elisa Miller with the grateful influence of Jeff from Buffa's - Border of the Quarter Cafe. We screen drivers and offer dispatch to them as independent delivery drivers. We deliver for restaurants that cover the cost of delivery for their custome

rs (free delivery) including Buffa's, Turtle Bay, La Peniche,and Fiorella's, as well as some that use our services exclusively Marigny Brasserie, Krystal Burger, Krewe de Food, Jagerhaus, Oceana Grill, Magnolia Grill, Huck Finn's, and Mardi Gras Zone. A few places use us as back up or because we deliver slightly beyond the FQ such as Sukho Thai, Mary Jane's Emporium, Copper Monkey, Pho King and Sekisui Samurai Sushi. Everyone can be a special delivery customer, just like the staff and customer's from places such as Cosimo's, Molly's On the Market and Old Town Inn who order carry-out from whatever restaurant they want. We also love to deliver groceries, something from United Hardware, Pet Asylum, Skully'z Recordz or any other shop. We get requests from those with temporary injuries, locals busy at work, and travelers taking a break, we even delivered a break up letter once (sure we're delivery whores). We are glad to service our neighborhood and neighbors with an environmentally conscious and economical service. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Look for volunteers selling the raffle tickets at the festival, or stop by the Welcome Tent for more information. Proceeds to benefit the Louisiana Bucket Brigade.
