I’m looking for people willing to find where it doesn’t.

Hardware Guru NYC AI is heading into beta because real-world hardware isn’t clean. Information is missing. Conditions conflict. Applications get complicated. And sometimes the most important thing a system can do is recognize when it doesn’t have enough information to give you an answer yet.

I want beta testers who will challenge it with real questions, difficult applications and the situations that don’t fit neatly into a catalog.

Find the weak spots. Push the limits. Tell me when it gets something wrong.

That’s how this gets better.

Before recommending a system, I need to know the door size, thickness and construction, available pocket conditions, structural support, operating requirements, and service access.

Without those answers, naming a product is just guessing.

Hardware Guru NYC AI is being built to recognize that distinction — to identify what’s known, flag what isn’t, and stop before a recommendation becomes an assumption.

A product can be technically excellent and still be completely wrong for the application.

Before I recommend a concealed pivot, I want to know:

• What does the door weigh?
• Where is the pivot axis?
• Self-closing or free-swing?
• Hold-open required?
• What are the frame and floor conditions?

The right product starts with the right questions.

That’s how I’ve approached hardware for years — and it’s the thinking behind what I’m building next.
