Tricky transitions? Meet CONTEGA MULTIBOND! Product Consultant got to see some in action at a project in Narragansett, Rhode Island.

CONTEGA MULTIBOND is a solvent-free, permanent, elastic, frost-resistant airtight adhesive that is applied from a roll, for bonding membranes on cementitious or rough materials. It can be used on the interior or exterior of the building, and applied in temperatures as low as 5 degrees. A clean and easy way to make an instant airtight, watertight, and durable connection.

Designed for cold climates, Lunos systems perform effectively down to -10°F when operated continuously at low to medium speeds and with sufficient indoor warmth. Conveniently, if ever you do want to turn the unit off due to extreme weather conditions such as high winds, wildfire smoke or super-low temperatures, you can simply turn off the switch and close the interior cover to manage the system and stay comfortable. Lunos HRV systems maintain an airtight building envelope when installed with ROFLEX gaskets and Pro Clima airight materials, while delivering healthy, balanced, and efficient ventilation.

PS: Corey is not actually a giant. This is a tiny house. Lunos systems are a great fit for small, space-efficient builds (Although, at 6’4”, he does help sell the illusion)

What is zero-reveal taping? We're on the job in Cornwall, ON with using Pro Clima membranes and tapes to deliver airtight, durable, high-performance construction on this 10-unit Certified Passive House.
Here, Aaron Waldt demonstrates the “Bunny Ears” technique used to air-seal the inside corners of a window or door opening before installation. It creates the slack needed to bridge the gap between the rough opening and the frame, ensuring a continuous air barrier. He's using Pro Clima CONTEGA SOLIDO IQ-D, a double-sided, humidity-dependent tape for interior or exterior airtightness. Watch as he walks through the steps of zero-reveal taping, the simplest and most robust method for air- and waterproofing a window.

The modular approach used on this project for large-scale mass timber is inspiring and we’re happy to see larger-scale adoption. We love to see wood used as the structure and interior finish on multifamily projects, and to keep that structure looking nice it needs protection! This modular project in Big Sky, Montana chose the watertight (at 33 ft water column), v***r-open (at 38perms) SOLITEX MENTO 1000 membrane as the WRB and air barrier to protect the exposed beautiful structure on this mass timber. We’re happy to work with to see the SOLITEX applied in the factory. Congrats to the project team including architect and contractor
