It was a special and unexpected moment at our Habitat Oak Forest ReStore when Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle stopped by to make a purchase and support the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
During her visit, President Preckwinkle had the opportunity to experience the ReStore firsthand while supporting the important work that takes place within our community.
While at the store, President Preckwinkle also took a moment to connect with one of our dedicated volunteers (Ra'Bon Brown) and they posed for a picture together. The unexpected photo became a memorable moment for our team and a wonderful example of the connections that can happen when community leaders, customers, volunteers, and nonprofit organizations come together!
Thank you, President Preckwinkle, for stopping by!
