Do you remember growing up and taking a trip down the street and around the corner to the local hardware store? It was a place that was convenient and where you could find most of what you needed. We are your neighbors and your community hardware store located just down the street. It is a place where we want to know your name, make you feel special and give you advice on how to finish your newest

project with the tools and products you need. My name is Todd Leonard and my wife Tammy we are the owner's of Oak Island Hardware. My father was a local contractor and from growing up in the construction business, I understand both the how-to of home projects and the unique requirements you have living in a coastal environment. At Oak Island Hardware you will find items like stainless steel fasteners, bulk bin nails and screws, saw blades and bits, propane refills—tools for every type of job and a friendly staff to give you personal attention. We are centrally located on the island where you don’t have to cross the bridge to get what you need. I have always felt there are no strangers here, just lots of friends we haven’t met. Oak Island Hardware serves both residential and commercial customers so you will find lots of items you may not have expected to find in a local hardware store. If you can’t find it we will order it for you. With a dedicated staff and the guiding principles my father taught me, we continue to grow by satisfying the needs of our customers.
