Complete renovation, refinished the cabinets by sanding them down to bare wood, aged and whitewashed. Tore out all existing tile along with 1 1:2 inches of concrete that was used as a subfloor, removed the old tub and replaced it with a two person whirlpool bath tub, tore out the existing shower and removed shower wall to make it bigger, added a niche in the shower, two niches next to the tub, and a niche in the half wall opposite the toilet with two shelves and installed led lighting in all the niches and at the step up into the tub area. The floor was raised in the tub/shower area to make it a shorter step into the tub. The floor was built so that any water shed runs to the shower drain. I added a short angled wall nearest the cabinets so that wall would line up with the wall between the doorway and the tub and constructed an archway seperating the two “areas”. The shower valve was moved to the entrance of the shower opposite the shower head. Lighting was changed from a single light above the tub and one above the shower on the same switch to two wafer lights( no cans) above the tub and still one above the shower now on separate switches n The soffit above the shower was also eliminated. The tub comes with Bluetooth radio, the speakers were upgraded and installed in the ceiling. There is now 5 lights in the soffit above the cabinets where there was 3 before. The skylight had water damage which was fixed by removing top 12 inches of Sheetrock and re sheet rocked with vinyl j channel at the top and sealed with silicone to prevent any damage in the future if a leak were to develop.

I'm still around, keeping busy. I haven't updated this page in a while but I am planning on getting back to it. For those who don't know, I have moved my business to Grand Portage, Mn. I have been staying very busy here remodeling a bathroom, installing laminate flooring, building decks, painting, and most recently I am wrapping up a 12x24 4 season porch that I have been working on. I have several projects in the works and looking for more to keep growing my business. I am willing to travel also, so it is possible for old and new customers to get their projects completed. I will be working in Grand Portage the next 2 weeks, finishing up some ramps on the deck I built then a complete bathroom remodel.

Busy making cedar planter boxes these days...now if I could only be busy selling them I'd have something going on!
