What does EIR stand for?

EIR stands for embossed-in-register, this is a texture technique that helps LVP flooring appear more like real hardwood. The texture follows the grain pattern you see, so what you look at is what you feel.

You might also hear “wood grain embossed” which is another texture technique, this is where the texture doesn't follow the grains that you see.
