🔨 THE ANSWER IS... 🔨

Did you guess it?!

Yesterday's mystery tool was a COMPOUND TILE NIPPER! 👀

These may look like a beefed-up pair of pliers, but they're made for a very specific job: cutting and shaping tile. 🧱

The jaws allow you to "nibble" away small pieces of tile, making them especially useful when you need to create:

✔️ Curved cuts
✔️ Small notches
✔️ Openings around pipes
✔️ Cuts around fixtures and other tricky areas

The compound action gives you about 3X the force of standard tile nippers, making it easier to remove those little pieces of tile without putting quite so much muscle into it. 💪

Did you know what this one was? Or did we stump you? 😂

🔧 THE ANSWER IS... 🔧

Yesterday's mystery tool was a DEBURRING TOOL! 🛠️

So... what does it do?

When you cut metal, plastic, tubing, or other materials, you're often left with sharp, rough edges or burrs. This handy little tool is designed to remove those edges and leave you with a much smoother, cleaner finish.

It's especially useful for:
🔩 Metal pipes and tubing
🔧 Cut bolts and screws
🛠️ Sheet metal
🚰 Copper or plastic pipe
📐 Other freshly cut materials

The swiveling blade follows the edge of the material, making it quick and easy to remove those sharp little burrs.

THE ANSWER IS...

Yesterday's mystery tool was a Plumb Bob!

A plumb bob is one of the oldest tools in construction—and it's still incredibly useful today!

When suspended from a string, gravity pulls the pointed weight perfectly straight down, creating a true vertical (plumb) line.

It's commonly used for:
🏠 Framing walls
🚪 Installing doors and windows
🧱 Laying brick or stone
📏 Checking if posts, walls, and structures are perfectly vertical

Long before laser levels existed, builders relied on plumb bobs to make sure everything was straight—and many professionals still keep one in their toolbox today!
