Cannot believe it has been a whole year, we will always remember all the countless great memories and all you taught us. Irv will forever and always remain a legend of South Philly and the Key Master. So much has changed in such a little amount of time, it seems like you've been gone for years... The world seems quite a bit colder, but knowing you are at peace and the hope of seeing you again is what makes it warmer than it seems. God Bless Irv Bruskin and family! Rest in peace my great friend...

As I am sure many of you are aware of the recent passing of Irv Bruskin, it deeply saddens us to officially post the news here.

We know that he loved the community and that the store has been a cornerstone to South Philadelphia and beyond for over 120 years. As a third generation owner, Irv impacted countless lives with tradition and expertise handed down and enhanced throughout the years, well beyond the capabilities of many who take up the profession of locksmithing and selling hardware. If you didn't know Irv you missed one of the greatest and fortunately many of us were blessed with the opportunity to know him.

You will always be deeply and dearly missed Irv, as a father, friend, teacher, center of the community, and so much more. Rest in peace brother Irv, rest in the Lord. God Bless Irv Bruskin and family and God Bless you. Thank you for your patronage and those of you who were close and a positive influence in Irv's life. We appreciate your sympathy and understanding as well as thoughts and prayers.
