We're hiring a full-time Lumber Yard Foreman!
The Yard Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the yard, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. This role involves managing a team, coordinating logistics, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and construction materials.

Duties

Supervise yard staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth operations.

Manage inventory levels and oversee the organization of materials and equipment.

Oversee material distribution for deliveries

Deliver materials and supplies to customer job sites.

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure materials meet project specifications.

Collaborate with project managers to align yard operations with overall project goals.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment usage, and safety inspections.

Requirements

Must have valid drivers license (CDL Preferred)

Experience in construction material management or supervising experience in a related field is preferred but not necessary.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
