North East Fire Department Chief Harry Cheyney recently accepted a $20,000 donation from YBP’s Kyle Hoffman on behalf of the Stewart Companies. This contribution to the North East (MD) Fire Department is part of a total of $28,500 the Stewart Companies have donated to Cecil County fire departments in 2026.

🎉 The Stewart Companies 90th anniversary celebration keeps rolling! 🎉

This time we gathered at our Belvedere Sand & Gravel plant in Port Deposit, MD, where employees enjoyed delicious food, fun games, exciting giveaways, and sweet treats from the food truck.

Principio Asphalt had the pleasure of hosting the Harford County Contractors Association’s (HCCA) Membership Dinner Meeting at our plant on Thursday, May 15th. Nearly 60 attendees enjoyed a beautiful evening filled with great company, barbecue from Mission BBQ, and perfect weather. Following dinner, the 2025 HCCA Scholarship recipients were recognized during a special presentation, and guests were treated to a tour of the plant.

A big thank you to everyone on the planning team for their hard work in making this event a success!

Construction of the I-95 interchange at Belvidere Road (adjacent to our plant in Cecil County, MD) is progressing nicely. Once complete, access to our facility will be much more efficient. We're looking forward to the opportunity to better service our customers!
