The 18650 version of the EDCLB Patrol shown with optional wrist lanyard. The 18650 cell provides about three times the run time of an 18350 cell, plus it can use two CR123 batteries to power the light (at about a 30% reduction in light output vs. the Li-ion cell).

An EDC flashlight is not of much use if you don't carry it regularly. While small flashlights appropriate for finding the keys you dropped can be carried in a pocket, lights powerful enough for self defense purposes can be more of a challenge to comfortably carry.

The EDCLB HBC horizontal belt carrier is a comfortable, secure yet quickly accessible method to carry a powerful light. As with most EDC items one might carry on the belt, the HBC is also easily concealed under a sweatshirt, jacket or untucked shirt.

"I had the opportunity to work with the light a fair amount during last night’s training. It performed well for me across a range of tasks including static flat range, barricades, and some light shoot house work.
