Jeff, the owner of a thriving ACE Hardware store, lost his vision as a teenager. His journey with Leader Dog began two years ago when Jeff decided it was time to strengthen his long white cane skills and reached out to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
“I fell in love with the organization that week,” Jeff recalls after completing our Orientation and Mobility program. “After that week, I knew I really wanted to have a Leader Dog.”
Jeff later returned to campus and was paired with Leader Dog Audie. Today, traveling independently has become much easier with Audie by his side.
