Tomorrow's delivery replenishes our mums, pansies, and violas, and brings in some gorgeous houseplants, including the Moon Valley pilea everyone goes nuts for and the Albo-Variegata pothos that's all over social media right now.

We're also getting in our first hellebores of the season! Plant them now and you'll have beautiful blooms in the garden during the dreary days of late winter.

And don't forget, we still have 50% off plants waiting for a new home. 🍂 Half-Off Select Outdoor Plants 🍂

Well, folks, it's that time of year again. Halloween is around the corner, and Thanksgiving a mere few weeks later. Which means, of course, that our outdoor garden center will once again convert to a Christmas Tree lot in practically no time at all!

Thus, we've marked down the vast majority of our outdoor plants. Not everything is included, so look for the slash: if the tag has a slash through it, it's 50% off. Yes, this includes all the coneflowers.

🍂 Expected Delivery — Friday, September 25 🍂

Somehow it's already the end of September! Tomorrow's order restocks favorites like asters, mums, and lettuce, plus some new houseplants from Peoria Gardens, who we already love working with for our outdoor stock. We're excited they're now offering the same affordable, gorgeous selection indoors that they've always brought outdoors.

This new stock will supplement everything already looking great throughout the garden center—though yes, some of our previously purchased summer stock is starting to wind down for the season, and honestly, we relate. Late September has a way of making everyone (plants included) crave a little rest. We've got a 30% off table for plants that are just slightly past their peak, and a 50% off table for the ones that peaked a bit earlier. Both are worth a look—perennials that seem tired right now are actually perfectly timed for planting, since they'll spend fall and winter focused on root development before putting on an even bigger show next year.

🌿 Back in Stock — Native Wildflower Seeds 🌿

Good things come to those who wait! Our last batch of Willamette Wildlings seed packets sold out fast, but we waited until it was closer to the right time for planting native seed before bringing them back in stock.

If you haven't tried them yet, Willamette Wildlings sells true Oregon wildflower seed—sourced from the Willamette Valley for westside gardeners, and from east of the Cascades for eastside growers. They take origin seriously: to them, it's genetic provenance, not just where a seed was grown and harvested. Their seed is wild-collected, never hybridized or manipulated, and provenance is tracked so you know you're getting genetically appropriate seed for your garden. Every batch is tested for purity and germination.

For 20 years, Lounge Lizard Vintage Furniture has been the go-to on SE Hawthorne for homemade furniture, lamps, and a killer selection of funky, refurbished vintage pieces. Earlier this year, they set up a pop-up shop right here with us too—and if you haven't stopped by lately, now's the time.
