Realistic expectations on mini skid wood drill:
First you need a 12mm hex socket head to adjust the head being "square". Should only need once unless you slam the head.
Second it needs higher flow and weight. The tip is not sharp like what you may have researched. It does not split to wood like a sharp cone pulling it's tip into the wood with axe like force. It's rips it apart at the top.
Third, you need a machine with good pins. Some of the cheaper machines will not have a long enough pin. Although it is the "universal" attachment plate, it is 1/2" deeper than some plates. 8 1/2" to just under 9" attachment plate instead of if you have an 8".
Plenty of power for ripping but it is not just plug and play.
I have a few minutes on the attachment to test a few things. It won't split a 4' log as some have asked. You may need to predrill a few holes quickly with a spade bit, but that goes quickly. I've talked more people out of buying than buying. Can it do some damage on logs and stumps: yes, you need to know how to use it to get the most and the flow of your machine and weight will determine if it's a gamble or not. Worth it for the back plate, motor, and hoses for DIY builds if it doesn't work out so long as you get it sub 500 USD. The motor, hoses, couplers, and back plate are sturdy built. Used a nice coupler for drive.

Although not open year round for sales, service and product R&D testing does go year round. Putting hours on machines, helping people for free online, and finding the best products takes time and money. I have found the best mini skid pallet forks at the best price, the best receiver hitch, and several other attachments for inexpensive mini skid steers but as new products come out new testing gets underway! The free loaner machines have come back from summer jobs, people are happy and helped, Equipment MN is getting ready for winter with some new testing units including a micro vibratory roller. Quality is not the same between many attachments for sure!

Mulching trees seems like it's the new pass time here. Nice big trunk handled like nothing.

I've only have 1 h12r serviced machine left, I took the picture but just sold another yesterday. The machine is at a jobsite today and working on the job right now! Stated it could pay itself off in 1 job and they don't need to spend the time looking up how to take care of it and get it ready for work! They didn't need to wait for parts, size anything up, figure out where to get it. I had a list of things such as known God solar panels that last over freezing conditions I've personally used for years and hook right up, and more!

A lot of oil changes go on here. All that slightly used oil can be either recycled or put to good use in many ways!

Approximately 3900lbs, 8 degree slope, 15hp engine. Is there enough power to push a trailer up this hill and can it turn...

So yes and first let me say this is an upgraded unit for cooling and bearings, fully serviced with proper fluids so please do not attempt yourself.

The boat base model is roughly 2600 lbs dry weight 90hp engine. This boat, as it sits with larger engine and *wet is roughly 2800 lbs. The tandem axel trailer weighs roughly 1050 lbs. There is also some additional stuff in the boat as it is not fully winterized, I was simply moving the boat to finish.

The hill starts at 5.5 degrees, then gets up to just barely over 8 degrees. The grass hill next to it measured at 8.5 degrees but has steeper and less steep spots due to ground settling.

Turning on flat works, but it's a bit of a chore, if you are familiar with tandem wheel drag. Tandem trailers don't like sharp turns. However there was enough power for good sharp turns until about 4-5 degrees of incline.

After 5 degrees, this is where you may start to struggle, though I was l will add most people don't know how steep this really is. At 7 degrees, the motors will bog down a little bit still able to turn. At 8 degrees you need both motors running to push. You can no longer turn with a single drive motor as it reaches its pressure limits on 2400 psi range setting.

As such, if you want to do a sharp turn you cannot turn the trailer with tandem axle drag while attempting to move the trailer up a 9 degree incline. If you want to move up an 8.5 degree incline, the machine will not start from stopped position but if you back it up a few inches then forward it will move uphill straight with both motors once more.

I apologize but Facebook says I cannot post video and photos at the same time. I will try to update the comments with the video shot I have on the steepest part. It was hard to run the machine with two hands and take video so it's a small clip.

Temperature being pushed to max with cooling upgrades reached 57c or roughly 135f temperature.

Hills never really showcase well on photo or video so I tried a few angles so you could see next to some pines trees for reference.
