Beginning the week of November 16, 2026, nighttime temporary closures on Route 7 near the Hillsboro Road bridge will occur as part of the county’s Route 7/Route 690 interchange project. Work to demolish the existing Route 690 bridge may require temporary traffic stoppages in all eastbound or westbound travel lanes on Route 7 for up to 20 minutes between midnight and 4:00 a.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take alternate routes overnight through December 18, 2026. Volunteer to help those in need in the community. The people at Betteralife need the community’s help to help those affected and displaced at Purcellville East. So if you can either donate your time or some goods to help other please do. We all just need to come together as a community and put food out into this crazy world.
