✨ EVERGREEN LIGHTS FESTIVAL SPOTLIGHT: City Group ✨

A massive thank you to Reed City Group for putting together such a fantastic display at last year’s festival! 🍭⛄️

They really brought the holiday magic to life with that giant candy cane archway, the illuminated snowman, and those bright blue RCG letters. It was such a fun highlight to see as everyone drove through the park!

By day, they handle full-scale mold building, and year-round, they are true pillars of our community who step up to sponsor so many local projects and events. We are so lucky to have partners like Reed City Group who care so deeply about making our town a great place to live!

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating a major milestone for Isaiah Moore as he officially achieved his Journeyman status as a Plastics Process Technician!

Isaiah has worked incredibly hard to reach this accomplishment, demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to learning and growing in his career at Reed City Group.

We were proud to celebrate this achievement with Isaiah and his family today. It was a great day to honor all the hard work and dedication that went into reaching this milestone.

Congratulations, Isaiah! We are proud of everything you have accomplished and excited to see all that you will continue to achieve!

We were excited to welcome Katy Dorman to Reed City Group during her visit from the United Kingdom! 🇬🇧🇺🇸

As part of her Churchill Fellowship, Katy is traveling across the U.S. and Canada to learn more about apprenticeship programs, including the work being done right here at RCG.

During her visit, she toured our facility and learned more about our Registered Apprenticeship Program and our partnership with Michigan Works! West Central.

We’re proud to have the opportunity to share what we’ve built and how apprenticeship programs are helping us develop the next generation of skilled talent.

🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸 We had a special visitor in our area this week -- Katy Dorman, who traveled all the way from the United Kingdom to learn about our successful apprenticeship partnership with Reed City Group!

While in town, she took a tour of RCG's facility and participated in a Q&A learn about the company's success with USDOL Registered Apprenticeships and how Michigan Works! West Central has played a critical supporting role in that success.

Katy, pictured here with Tracie Ruppert from RCG (left) and Julie Sanders, Apprenticeship Specialist for Michigan Works! West Central (right), is making stops in the U.S. and Canada to learn about apprenticeships as part of her Churchill Fellowship (established by Winston Churchill in 1965!). Her five-week tour includes stops in Washington DC, Chicago, Muskegon, Reed City and at the Michigan Works! Association's Annual Conference earlier this week in Mount Pleasant.

Today, we pause to remember the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years later, we honor the courage of the first responders, the strength of those who served, the families who carried unimaginable loss, and the countless acts of kindness and unity that followed.

What a great day for some RCG softball! ⚾

We had an awesome turnout for our company softball game yesterday, and it was great seeing so many of our employees and their families come out to enjoy the day together. Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make it such a fun event.🌭

We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!
