We've shrunk the quantity of 4.5mm diameter bright annealed solid round rod x 36" long from 100 pieces per bundle to 90 pieces - why (to save you money??)

Yes that's right, to save you money. With 100 pieces the weight of the bundle only allowed 1 bundle to fit into UPS Simple Flat Rate box. NOW with 90 pieces the weight of the bundle allows 2 bundles to fit into UPS Simple Flat Rate box. Being flat rate shipping is the same cost up to 50 lbs. so getting more metal for the same shipping dollar is a cost savings.

Our metal stamping A11 Flying Bat has flown in and ready for you to order. Specifications are:
approx. size 5 7/8"w x 2 13/16"h.
approx. .020" thickness (25 gauge metal) (1/3 thickness of a penny)
gray steel color
wings are flat with detail on both sides and body has hollowed out backside with detail on both sides
quality product, excellent detail - made in USA

After production several hundred pieces at a time are put into a mixer and tumbled for several hours. The tumbling process deburrs (smooths out) the edges and gives the metal a distressed look.

Perfect 1/8" dia. size annealed round rod for intricate metalworking and DIY projects. Being annealed makes the steel less brittle, cleaner, and more formable as flaky residue typical of black steel is removed.

Qualifies for UPS Simple Flat Rate Box Pricing, 1 lb. box up to a 50 lb. box of steel ships for the same cost of $33 within the USA (48 states). Metals can be combined to reach the 50 lbs. 7.5 lbs. per bundle.
