Job Title Yard Assistant - Summer Help
Job Description Job of the Yard Assistant (Summer Help) is to assist yard and delivery staff during the Summer months. The Yard Assistant is responsible for providing friendly customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers, by loading and assisting with jobsite deliveries. Help maintain the yard by keeping it clean and safe. Work in a careful manner as a team. Ability to lift heavy loads and handle an outside environment.
Salary $15/Hour




Job Requirements




Position Qualifications :
- Must lift up to 50-100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to handle an outside environment and some physical activity.
- Accuracy - perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Energetic and Friendly - work at a sustained pace and produce quality work with a cheerful demeanor towards others.
- Reliability - the trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
Essential Functions :
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked.
- Store items orderly.
- Count and inspect items received, loaded and shipped to customers.
- Ability to communicate over handheld radios.

The Yard and Delivery Specialist I Position (NON-CDL SINGLE AXLE BOX AND DUMP TRUCK DRIVER)is responsible for providing friendly customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers, by loading and delivering materials in Non-CDL single axle box and dump trucks, unloading materials from vendors, and keeping a clean and safe yard. This is accomplished by receiving, storing and loading materials by hand, and with equipment, in a careful manner while working as a team. Inventory control, accuracy in performing work, product knowledge and organization skills are essential for providing professional service in this position.
