Per the FGIA Legislative & Regulatory U.S. report at , here is the latest on trade relations between Canada and the U.S. On August 22, the U.S. increased tariffs on certain Canadian imports from 25% to an additional 50%. This includes doors (including frames, thresholds), plywood, laminated veneer lumber, particle board, other wood products and other products. Canada will fire back with new tariffs effective September 8.
