Soooo apparently Facebook and its algorithms like to change their minds every now and then. 😂
And apparently “they” had an issue with our original hiring post.
SOOOO…we’re going to redo this the way Facebook wants us to and see if maybe they’ll actually let us spread the word this time. 😂🤞
Which means we need YOUR help, too!
WE’RE GROWING OUR GRAINS OF LOVE TEAM!!!!!
And honestly…what a BLESSING it is to be able to say that. ❤️
October kicks off our busy baking season, the holidays are quickly approaching, AND Grains of Love sourdough is making its way into more local places — which means we’re not only baking for all of YOU who walk through our doors, we’re baking to keep those places stocked too!
It is an incredible blessing.
But man…WE NEED MORE HANDS! 😂
Our biggest need right now is BAKERS!
~BAKERS~
We’re looking for people with solid baking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to keep up in a busy bakery kitchen.
Sourdough experience is definitely a PLUS — but it’s NOT a deal breaker! We can teach our processes. What we really need are people with a strong baking foundation who are eager to learn, can follow a process consistently, and take pride in getting the little details right.
Food prep, food safety, consistency and timing are all important parts of the job.
Baker shifts may begin as early as 4AM, and availability Monday–Saturday is important.
~GENERAL TEAM MEMBERS~
We’re also looking for a few great people who are willing to jump in wherever needed — customer service, food prep, drinks, cleaning, stocking and all the things that keep Grains moving!
Coffee experience? Awesome.
Never touched an espresso machine? We can teach that too.
For ALL of our team members, we’re looking for people who are:
• Dependable
• Take initiative — see what needs done and jump in
• Hardworking
• Detail-oriented
• Adaptable — no two days at Grains look exactly the same!
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Team players — around here, everyone helps
• Flexible with scheduling
❤️ And most importantly — understand that serving people well is at THE HEART of what we do.
Our days — and sometimes our plans 😂 — can change depending on what needs to get done. We need people who can shift gears, learn different areas of the bakery, and jump in where they’re needed.
We work hard. We move fast. And there is ALWAYS a lot happening behind that bakery counter — we just need a few more hands to help us make it happen!
We care just as much about how people are treated as we do about the food and drinks we hand across the counter.
And around here, everyone helps — because “that’s not my job” really isn’t our thing. ❤️
