Protect your PV Farm with DirtGlue and DustLess

The aforementioned DirtGlue® Regular polymer (DGRp) is popular for maintaining solar and wind farms at peak efficiency with reduced maintenance cycles. DGRp is applied below the panels or wind turbines, in non-traffic areas, as foot and vehicle traffic would otherwise shear the polymer bonds and revert to its natural state.

DustLess® is used in traffic areas as a dust palliative (dust suppressant). Clear and odorless, DustLess dust suppressant comes ready to use (no water or mixing required), and never requires a drop of water or even humidity to function. A single application can last a year or longer as it does not evaporate nor runoff substantially with rain. This makes it perfect for application in hot/sunny arid climates where grasses cannot thrive.

MasonProof waterproofing treatment

GES MasonProof™ is uniquely designed to nano-penetrate masonry such as bricks & mortar, concrete, stone pavers, adobe/stucco, and more. It seals from the inside-out, leaving a waterproof seal that resists scratching, heat/cool contractions and UV damage.

There are numerous use cases for MasonProof. Santa Barbara adobe homes enjoy long-term protection from the elements. Moss and molds can't get established on sealed stone (see above). Wineries seal their beautiful paver entries to resist staining from the inevitable wine spill. Cinder block construction becomes waterproof, and requires fewer primer coats before painting which can fully cost-offset MasonProofing.

Simply dilute with water, spray and roll. For existing construction, pressure washing in advance is recommended.

Easy with ArenaKleen

GES ArenaKleen® is a waterless dust suppressant, specifically formulated for equestrian arenas. It's non-polymer formulation resembles a clear, odorless vegetable oil but is synthetically engineered to not evaporate, nor runoff with rains, and never requires a drop of water to function. Simply spray it down like water (with a water pump or water trailer), drag to mix, and ride. It is completely safe, no VOCs, and non-toxic to people, horses, pets, plants, fish and wildlife.

A single application of ArenaKleen can control dust indefinitely. Eventually there will be accumulations of airborne fugitive dust, organic materials, and micro-shear particle creation from riding action that can reach a point where re-treatments are desired. Outdoor and covered arenas tend to re-apply at 12-18 month intervals and indoor facilities can go 2-5 years between treatments. Re-treatments are at ~1/2 the initial application rate due to long-term residual effect.

Still time to glue dirt with DirtGlue!

The substrate’s breathability, color and texture are not affected, making it perfect for Venetian, Santa Barbara, Old Spanish, and other stucco finishes.

MasonProof (MP) is unique to the industry in that it continues working even if the surface becomes scratched or chipped. It’s not a surface sealer so it is not merely a cover or barrier, it’s nano-technology permeates and permanently seals masonry from capillary water intrusion.

It is simple to apply by spray, brush or roller to new or existing masonry structures. MasonProof is shipped in a liquid concentrate form and diluted at the job site with water. Depending on the porosity of the material being treated, the dilution ratio will be between 1:9 to 1:20 of MP:water. GES has invested >20 years of R&D in dust palliatives (suppressants) and soil binders (DirtGlue® family of polymers) and developed an amazing portfolio of earth-friendly solutions. A missing link was a low-cost, short-term dust suppressant for applications such as construction sites. It's here now!

DGBalance™ is shipped in liquid concentrate and diluted 1:1 at the job site. When applied topically to sand/soil, DGBalance creates a flexible stabilization and shear reduction to the treated soil/terrain, like a rubber mat.

Subsequent vehicle and foot traffic may disturb the DGBp polymer bonds, but the resulting crumbles are still glued together and resist going airborne. One of the most popular products in the GES stable, DirtGlue® Regular polymer is the original GES invention that has been holding the earth together for over 20 years. It is used primarily for erosion and dust control in non-traffic areas.

In large scale applications such as the aqueduct grading pictured, a hydroseeder is frequently utilized to spray far and wide. The crust forms quickly and once dried, creates a relatively permanent 'crust' like ice on snow. The polymer bonds can be easily disturbed by foot or vehicle traffic, where it reverts to its native state. Undisturbed, it holds the soil together through wind and rain and sun and heat.

Many hectares of Middle Eastern sand dunes are glued down to this day, as are mining/construction stockpile caps and solar/PV farms. Plant germination rates through the DGR crust are greatly improved over traditional hydroseeding tackifiers, and the hydrophobic nature of DGR reduces water absorption and consequential slippage.

At 300+ gallons of concentrate per acre it literally sheds water like a duck. At around 275G/acre, DGR permits 500 gallons/day to permeate the surface. Effective soil stabilization applications can be made as low as 65 gallons/acre while very long term control through freeze/thaw may be applied in excess of 750 gallons/acre.

As with all DirtGlue family products, DGI is a non-hazardous, water-soluble product which contains no harmful chemicals. DGI will not adversely affect people, animals or aquatic life.

DirtGlue Industrial polymer is mechanically mixed into the road surface aggregate, binding with the soil to form a tough, durable, three-dimensional matrix that functions like asphalt.
