The Minimum Qualifications to be a Ready-Mix Truck Driver include:

Must possess a valid Texas CDL - Class A or B required
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and maintain an active DOT medical qualification
Must be able to pass a DOT Drug Screen
Must be able to pass a verification of driving record, MVR
Must be able to work overtime when required, to include nights and weekends

The requirements of a Ready-Mix Truck Driver include:

Successful completion of the New Hire Training Program
Dedication to Safety
Obeying all applicable traffic laws
Adhering to DOT rules and regulations, to include completing all appropriate documentation
Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
Performing general labor duties when necessary

This is a skilled position requiring a thorough understanding of the ready-mix concrete business. Operator controls the process to produce concrete from raw ingredients and additives according to predetermined specifications using Zylocon computer batching software. Verifies correct admixtures are used in correct dosages and provides verification that the concrete batched meets the specifications established by company and customer. This position requires day to day interaction with other employees and routine customer interaction and communication by phone and email.

Necessary skills include:
*Knowledge and understanding of area tax codes
*Ability to create and edit excel spreadsheets,
*Bilingual is a plus
*Must be able to produce concrete products to required specifications
*Verify each load for yardage, mix, added products and all other quality information
*Operate equipment safely and efficiently
*Receive and inspect raw materials
*Keep required records and logs
*Oversee the cleaning of the central mix plant.
*Monitor inventories in the plant. (Cement, Aggregate, Sand, fly ash, admixtures)
*Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable
*Thorough working knowledge of computer/batching system
*Define problems, collect data and communicate with management.
*Must have quality as a core value and work well as a team player
Must be able to pass Pre- Employment & Random Drug Screening
*Willing to work early mornings and Saturdays as needed
