Spent a day off with my girl volunteering at GSSWT Camp La Jita. Just her and I bonding over stories and learning what rain does to wet paint! Oh and armadillos... our first black widow (😳). Wouldn’t have spent my Tuesday any other way.

I’ve been working on my outside bath and after sanding down the surface rust and removing all dirt, so it’s clean and dry, first coat of primer; PPG Multiprime 4160. What a beautiful transformation with just the primer!

is everything plus. Enjoying color inspiration with an iconic place to visit, dine, and enjoy. While travel is limited, specifications for performance still take us on a trip to some of the best. Of course, I’m Texan so a tad biased.

Color inspiration found.
Gotta love a good ol' Texas sign to make you smile. Don't understand me, well it's a Texan thing. We love our state, our bar-b-que, our H-E-B, our road trips (anything Texas is a road trip) and of course, anything that says Texas on it. Why? Well, because it means home.

Thought I’d share. With the introduction of our new color palette I had a designer ask me if “the trend grey and white are out?”

Me: Black is the absence of color, white is a hue which encompasses all colors in light.
Black and white are not technically colors, they are shades.
Grey is a child of them both, therefore- a hue.

We’ve never seen them as “colors”. The white and grey is a classical hue palette of neutrality.

After answering with that I thought, wow, now isn’t that poignant and relative.
