Cleaned up a few teak chairs and a cedar swing for my friend and client in Rams Hill. Power washed the pieces, sanded and added a wood penetrating oil to the teak. For the swing I added some UV Extreme Cypress stain before applying an exterior urethane (UV Extreme Satin) for protection.

I've just completed my 2nd kitchen in Borrego Springs since moving my business down here. One more quick job this next week and then off for the summer. I hope to start lining up the jobs for Fall/Winter. :)

Two more jobs completed in Borrego Springs, CA. Painted a bathroom/laundry room and sprayed doors and painted door jams for my friend at DAV.

Here are before/after pictures of the laundry room I painted in Borrego Springs this week.
The area was painted in all one color. We chose to go with Ceiling White, Swiss Coffee on the cabinets, doors and baseboards and Cream in my Coffee (Behr Colors) on the walls.
Spraying cabinets and doors makes all the difference!

Last May I was hired to paint kitchen cabinets, and the cabinets, walls, doors and ceiling in the laundry room in a house down in Borrego Springs. Hip replacement surgery pushed the project back until last week!
The kitchen had a glaze (antique) look to it, that my client has lived with for 5 years...he said he could wait a few more months for me.
We chose to go with a "tuxedo look" (darker on the bottom/lighter on the top)in the kitchen.

Second Refinishing job of 2022, and after my hip replacement. This house has a lot of wood in it, and my client inherited the house after her father passed. It's about 5-7 years past due for work. A lot of the wood is bleached out by the sun, while other areas were protected by artwork.
My client is okay with different shades/variations of the walnut on the walls and the doors!
It felt GREAT to get back to what I love...although I was pretty tired at the end of every day. :)

Sadly, I am taking a refinishing hiatus, because I need to have a hip replacement in September (I hope). Let me know if you would like a referral, or are willing to wait a while. Everyone take care, and have a great summer!!

Had to refinish "some" doors in a 15+ year old kitchen that has changed color throughout the entire kitchen due to sun damage, water issues and well, 15+ years. This was NOT easy! It's easier to refinish an entire kitchen than to try and get something to match!!
Two two-toned kitchens in a row.....
