We are very, very sorry to announce the passing of our long time friend and employee, Jim Stockton. He was a very important member of our community and our store and we will miss him dearly. Happy Monday! A BIG thank you to everyone that came out for the annual SDMX Christmas Party! We have so much fun doing these events for the Shelter Island Community and all the businesses and individuals that make our little boating world so great! Although it looked a little different this year after losing our owner Judy, her daughter, Shelly, continues to keep her spirit and generosity alive and fill us up with chili and cheer! So merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all! Thank you for another successful Christmas party!

Just a reminder for those that haven't seen it on our door, but SDMX and Sailing Supply will be closing early today at 1:30 for the celebration of life our dear friend Pete Morrow at SDYC. Pete has been an incredible light in our business and we look forward to keeping all of his spirit alive in the future. Love you Petey, we miss you and your bitchin' smile!
