Before y’all say “WHY ARE MY EYES ON
FIRE?! I used them FREE eclipse glasses.”

Our ole’ rusty & crusty welder Tom has a public service announcement. He briefly shared a story with me today and it went something like this-

“When I was a child we had an eclipse in Germany, do you know what they gave me? The teacher broke off a piece of glass for each of us and blacked it with a flame. It didn’t work very well.”

Long story short, most welders are highly intelligent but cannot see well.

That being said, he did suggest purchasing shade 10-14 hardened welding glass EXCLUSIVELY at HOFMANN’s SUPPLY!
