Participants are welcome to just show up and get in line for the parade (Lineup 6:00 pm at Lock City, parade steps off at 6:30). If you would like to be considered for one of the prizes, email [email protected] for a registration form.

The winners of the Second Annual James R. Kemp Memorial Essay Contest received their medals and certificates last night! If you're heading to the Chippewa County Fair, be sure to look for the hot pink certificates hanging in the animal pens. Take note of the tag number, because at Saturday's livestock auction, these 5 critters will include a certificate for a FREE Maytag 16 cubic foot garage ready chest freezer! Support your local 4-H kids by purchasing healthy, farm fresh meats and you could end up with a freezer to keep it in!
