Olson Kundig

Olson Kundig Itinerant Projects is a multi-year program consisting of a series of site-specific collaborative installations to be located around the globe.

Installations will explore the nexus of design, culture and social practice. Itinerant Projects is the next evolution of Olson Kundig [storefront], which debuted in 2011 and functioned as an experimental workspace and became host to eighteen public events and installations organized around the question: “What can we do together that we cannot do alone?”

Olson Kundig Architects begins 2014 with the launch of Itinerant Projects, a multi-year program consisting of a series of site-specific collaborative installations to be located around the globe. Itinerant Projects installations will explore the nexus of design, culture and social practice. The Itinerant Projects program is the next evolution of Olson Kundig’s [storefront], which debuted in 2011. [storefront] functioned as an experimental workspace and became host to eighteen public events and installations organized around the question: “What can we do together that we cannot do alone?” Itinerant Projects will carry on the tradition of interesting partnerships that will undoubtedly yield unusual outcomes, and we are excited to continue to share these moments with you here. The director of Itinerant Projects is Olson Kundig Architects principal/owner Alan Maskin.

Look for more changes to come on this page as we transition from [storefront] to Itinerant Projects.
