This is one side of a set of custom brake shoes for an old Triumph. Owner had them drawn in CAD and I cut both sides and put in some other holes so he could put brakes on his old car.

This just a couple shots of a grommet mold that allows a cable to pass thru a piece of a case component and be sealed. The renderings show the part installed in the case allowing the cable to be bent 90 degrees into the slot and the grommet molded onto the cable. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the inserts in the pocket to the right where they belong but you can get the idea. This is the bottom half of the tool, the top half being almost a mirror image in this case, so the injection runner (vertical half-round) hasn't been tunneled under yet but most of it is there. The horizontal half round is for the cable to lay in which corresponds to an opposite half round to form a circle and shut off around the cable. The synthetic rubber is then injected under low pressure thru the injection runner thru a small or***ce at t he end of the runner.

This little tool has been quite troublesome. It wants to drag as it opens. One of the 2 parts it makes is shown in the pic of the yellow parts still on the injection runner. It makes a guard on a tip of a dental tool used for implants.

one of my current mold projects. These are pics of the inside core of the part to be molded. Also shown is the current part I'm replacing because the mold is worn out. This core started as an 85lb block of P-20 steel and is first machined with a 6" x7" square register to fit into the mold base and all the ejector pins and water lines drill from the back to cool the block during molding and the ejector pins to push the part off the tool after it's molded. The core is the positioned against that back surface and located perfectly to machine each side and then rotate to the next side. In machining a major part is determining the sequence of how to "hold" the block in way that you can accurately machine the features all the to completion. You can see the features on the block that are opposite of the inside shot of the white part. I know it's hard to turn your sight inside out to visualize this.

These are billet aluminum jetski rear nozzles I am making a small number of for a colleague in various stages of completion. Photo on the left is the 6 x 6 x 7 block that I start with and machine the inside features and a bolt pattern on the fl**ge to rotate it 180 degrees and attach it to a fixture. They also serve to attach it to the pump on the jetski.
