has earned the reputation for carrying the most trusted and reliable products in the building material industry. As a fourth-generation family owned company, GELC has been serving Eastern North Carolina for over 100 years. After successfully opening 3 stores, the Evans family saw an opportunity for an additional store in Brunswick County. In 2012, with only 6 employees and a vision to serve the coastal area, GELC opened their 4th location near Supply, NC. A year later, they purchased a warehouse building on Whiteville Road where they currently do business serving the surrounding Brunswick County areas. Now, with over 30 dedicated employees, they provide their builders and customers with a complete inventory of quality building materials and supplies at competitive prices. To improve customer experience, they have updated their sales floor, added multiple T-Sheds, and recently paved the service yard. By providing fast and dependable service, our staff promises to meet the needs of your building project, making Garris Evans Lumber Co. a “Name You Can Build On”.
