After long day at work I stopped by the rock n roll Cafe in simi as I was in edsel.drove very well down to Hollywood and back even in the heat .rides better over the potholes and scrappy streets of LA.

Been a heck of a weekend between working and rain .got to cars and coffee sunday at Reagan library.stepped out door and looked like it might rain but as not far I got the moggy out .Trevor followed in his ranchero and we were some of first there .no rain and donuts and coffee were out ....cars kept coming in not as many as usual but a good turnout.... here's a little of what was there lots pictures did not come out as phone was acting up....

Had to work yesterday so no cars and coffee .this morning was up early fed cats and got Edsel ranger out and cruised ove...

Had to work yesterday so no cars and coffee .this morning was up early fed cats and got Edsel ranger out and cruised over to superrcar sunday at pierce college
Freeway was quiet and after warming up we stretched our legs on freeway cruising at 65 ,more than the moggy sees.
Super heat seems to have finished Thursday with temps in 106 range but now clouds are coming in ,monsoon soon?

Picked up the suburban in lake Isabella at brother in law s ,richards where he had done head gaskets and checked for any damage to heads ....late getting away and by time we got to bottom of grapevine it was 104 .waited an hour for it to cool down .started up and 2 miles up hit a huge pothole which caused some wire to short ,got to hardshoulder miraculously and open the hood to find to spark plug leads on fire .aaa came in forty minutes and flatbedded it home....turns out the ecu fuse had popped .New wires and a fuse and back up and running last night......life happens .....have been working last 4 weeks straight so no time to do it myself as head is such a big job and didn't want no yard artlanguishing in driveway ....rather paint indoors and make some money to pay for these jobs....

This engine has done well but have a feeling I need to upgrade ...1098 or 1275 .anyone got a goodie there willing to part with .have a ribbed gearbox waiting....simi valley ,ventura county,Los Angeles area.is the 1500 triumph from spitfire a viable swap as they put them in midgets ....thoughts please...money is limited.....

Off work today as feast and famine entertainment business has been messing with my cars and coffee meets .five days a week with weekend work .
So took the ranger out to thousand oaks,every 1st and 3rd saturday.washed in the auto car wash ,hood emblem survived ,.up onto freeway andcruised over the hill ....wings over Camarillo might have syphoned off a few of regulars ,still good turnout...

Ray with his 55 chevy showed up for a matter and is about to have knee replacement on Wednesday. Best wishes for a speedy recovery .
Edsel still needs some polishing and vacuuming but woody got on list first as I need a cheap daily .headed to TV city ,old CBS for work this week ....here's a look at some of the cars today....

Out for cars and coffee this morning at valencia which i haven't made it to for a while .trying to find a charger for phone that fits dash,not easy to get one as it needs to be very deep....on the road by 630am and a nice drive starting easy but taking it up to 65 across valley...coffee and a bagel from western bagel .not as many people but there are a lot of shows today...good chin wag with some regulars and then early exits heat was building on the asphalt.....up on freeway and all way home 65 to 70....here's a sample of what was there...
