One thing I’ve always tried to pride myself in is the “small details” you know, the small monotonous tasks.
Edges can often times be overlooked and the focus driven to the front because that is most often all that is seen. I go through 3 separate sanding steps to try and blend the two layers of leather together to make it look as one. After the 3 step sandings, it’s off to the high speed burnisher that was hand made from a solid piece of Cocobola Wood. Once that is finished, I use a bench grinder with a cotton buffing wheel to really make that shine come out. Some people thought it was an “edge coat” that gave it the shine. Nope, just sanded leather, and leather dye. We hope if you have bought a Front from us, that you see I try to cover all the “small details”.
