We couldn’t let Women’s History Month come to a close without honoring our President, Teddy, and the incredible legacy she’s built alongside her late husband, Ross.
At 96 years young, Teddy still comes into the office weekly, leading by example and reminding us of the values that built this business. “If you want to be in a role, strive to be the very best at it. Get the job done and don’t waste people’s time with nonsense. That’s a very important key to success,” she shares. “You have to love what you do and take pride in your business — I couldn’t wait for Monday. I loved the challenge, being in the office, and seeing my coworkers and customers.”
Her advice is just as timeless: “Be courteous, be caring, be kind, be generous, be available. Be open to new ideas, trustworthy, pleasant to be around — and above all, be honest. People often want you to say what they want to hear, but you are better off being honest.”
Cheers to strong women and lasting legacies!
