🏎️ You may have noticed this car sitting outside our store.

MAC Supply & Hardware is proud to team up with a few other local businesses to sponsor this vehicle for Never Alone Inc. out of Fergus Falls.

Never Alone is an organization focused on mental health and su***de prevention that brings people together through a shared passion for cars. Participants get hands-on experience working on race cars, learn valuable mechanical skills, build connections, and even learn how to drive.

Be sure to check out the car next time you stop by MAC!

Our owners and General Manager recently attended the Do it Best Fall Market! 🛠️

Along with connecting with industry partners and exploring new opportunities for MAC, Seth, our General Manager, participated in educational classes focused on e-commerce and how to better engage customers, increase online visibility, and utilize digital tools to grow our business.

We’re always looking for ways to learn, grow, and bring new ideas back to MAC Supply & Hardware so we can continue serving our community even better! 💚

The NLS Operating Levy will be on the ballot November 3, and the ballot language can be confusing. Here are three important things to understand:

1️⃣ If approved, NLS projects no increase to what residents currently pay in school taxes because of the new state funding mechanism.

2️⃣ A new Minnesota law changes how seasonal and recreational property tax revenue is accounted for. NLS has a significant amount of seasonal/recreational property in its tax base, and the new state aid is expected to provide approximately $1 million in additional annual operating revenue beginning in 2027 if the levy is approved.

3️⃣ You will see language stating that voting “Yes” is voting for a property tax increase. That wording is required by Minnesota law for operating levy questions and cannot be changed by the school district. For NLS, the district states that the additional state funding is expected to offset the levy, resulting in no increase to the school district portion of property taxes for residents.

Vote YES for NLS
