I am looking for broken generators to repair as a hobby.
I completely go through these and replace broken parts, repair and load test.
Some of the generators I repair get sent to local churches and organizations to help when there is a power outage and people who don’t have the means can get help.
Some also get sent to help out during floods or other national disasters free of charge. The funds made from normal sales pay for the generators donated.
I pay $50 for generators under 6000 watts and $100 for generators over 6000 watts. Nothing more than 20 years old (parts are not readily available).

Due to the cost of the parts to service these generators increasing 125% I am forced to raise the service fee to $75 temporarily. Thank you for understanding.
I know you’ve heard this before “get your generator serviced now before the storm hits and it doesn’t work. Or purchase that backup generator before you need it and don’t have it”.
I’m here to tell you that if there is a power outage I won’t have the time to fix your broken generator nor will I have any left in stock for you to purchase.
Please don’t procrastinate until it’s too late.

Oil filter if applicable
Spark plug
Fuel filter
Old or bad fuel
Any fuel lines that are questionable
Check:
Carburetor and fuel tank condition
Fuel shut off condition
Volts (set voltage if adjustable)
Set engine speed (hertz)(Hz)
Load test:
Full load test
Generator must be in a good running condition.
Any issues will be discussed with customer and additional charges applied for additional repairs if agreed upon.
