In mid-December, I was engaged to provide consulting services for a friend and host located approximately an hour outside of St. Louis. I had no prior knowledge of what to expect, but upon arrival, I was impressed by the beauty of the property. The “Tiny Houses of French Village” is a hidden gem. My task was to assist in organizing a warehouse-type space where the host stores items for her tiny houses, ranging from tools to extra towels. We have worked together on two separate days thus far, and I am astonished by the transformation. Additionally, I had the opportunity to stay in one of the tiny houses last night and have included photographs of my experience.

Today I spent some time organizing a playroom for a friend/colleague. She and her husband did a TON of work prior to me coming- see first 2 pics! The end product is the last photo. Labels on shelves and bins so her boys know where to put everything! Systems matter! 🙌🏻

As you begin to take down your holiday decorations, make sure you are organizing them in a way that makes sense. My favorite way to organize holiday decorations in my storage room is by using green and red containers and then labeling the outside of them with a large label. Here are the dates that popular businesses will be marking down their holiday decor and storage.

What a productive day helping a family with 3 kids go through children’s clothes, linens and other misc items. They ended up donating a ton and now they have more room for what they need. Because an organized home is a happy home!
