Need to put some asphalt in front of that door this week because after all that rain, forklifts and wet ground don’t play nice 😅

Our main focus is FEED to start. Once we’re able to move feed in and provide that service to the community, we’ll OPEN! We’ll continue our buildout and bringing in more “supplies” (ex: chicken feeders/drinkers, flea pills, wormers, boots, ect). We’ll bring a variety of things in to make this home town store a special place to not only meet your needs, but give that nostalgic “feed store smell” that you remember as a kid.

We’re excited! We’ve been able to shake a lot of hands this week and we’re so humbled by the feedback and support already. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. It’s going to be a fun journey!

Big things are happening at 🌾 Seal’s Family Farm & Supply 🌾

We are getting closer and closer to officially opening our doors! 🚜🔨 Right now we are just waiting on our internet setup and card reader so we can get everything ready to roll.
From farm supplies and hardware to hunting, fishing, propane, feed, and local farm products… this has been a dream in the making for our family. ❤️

We will be using the Seal’s Family Farm page to post updates, new inventory, store progress, and opening announcements, so be sure to follow along and share with your friends and family!

I can’t say enough about this guy.

About a week after purchasing the Louisiana Perch Feed & Supply I got a phone call from a gentleman stating he had 10 years experience working at a feed store. I asked him to come by and knew within minutes he was going to be a major asset to the store.

Kelly Vincent is the type of employee that business owners dream of. After running several businesses and hiring a lot of different employees, I’ve boiled down some key characteristics that I look for in an employee. One of those is INITIATIVE. Everyday Kelly treated this store like it was his own. Showing up to work with his lawn mower on the trailer ready to clean up the property. 4-wheeler with sprayer to kill the weeds. Truck full of tools ready to fix anything down on the spot.

When you have someone this skilled and talented, you can’t be surprised when they move onto bigger and better things. We can only celebrate and be grateful for the time we’ve had. After over 10 years in the business, Kelly is opening his own feed store Curley Vincent Feed and Supply Co. I think he finally realized if this dumb kid can do it, so can I 🤣

Longville needs a hometown feed store and Kelly and his family are the team to bring exactly that to the community! Kelly will be with us at the Louisiana Perch a couple more weeks and then he’s off to excel at his next venture.

We are so excited to watch his journey and support him however we can. We ask you all to do the same! Y’all follow his store and I’ll see you at the grand opening!
